Establishing workforce culture as a priority issue in health care provision

Pulse UK, a provider of workforce culture programmes, asked us to build influencer and decision maker understanding of how workforce culture can influence performance in the NHS.

Connecting success stories with key stakeholders

We organised a culture summit to bring together different NHS arm’s lengths bodies, providers, membership organisations, and think tank influencers to discuss whether investment in organisational culture can drive sustainable transformation in healthcare. We secured former Health Minister Lord Prior of Brompton as the chair and organised for two of Pulse’s exciting UK clients to present case studies of how a focus on culture has helped improve services and workforce collaboration.

Influencing decision maker priorities

We secured attendance from all target organisations, including the Department of Health and Social Care, NHS England, NHS Improvement, Health Education England, NHS Providers and trust executives. The discussion helped the client understand how the issue of culture is affecting NHS organisations as well as the challenges national stakeholders have in addressing it. The roundtable fed into Pulse’s strategy and key messaging, supporting a wider stakeholder engagement programme with attendees and other stakeholders.
